In 2018, Brandtegic was born out of pure ambition and a strong belief in the power of strategic content and social media. At the time, I had no experience running a business—just talent, drive, and a willingness to learn by doing. I started by helping anyone who needed it, growing quickly as a one-man band fueled by word of mouth and referrals. My early setup was simple: a desk in a small room, but it was where I planted the seeds of what would become a thriving agency.

Over time, I faced the growing pains of scaling beyond a solo operation. I found myself trapped in an endless cycle of shooting, editing, posting, and client management, feeling like a glorified freelancer. I realized that without systems in place, I was always going to be the bottleneck. To break this cycle, I invested in a mentor and shifted my approach. I focused on productizing my offers and building a capable team so that I could step back from the day-to-day grind.

As I implemented these changes, things began to click. We doubled our business, moved into a larger studio, and finally hit our first seven-figure year. But growth didn’t stop there. To sustain and scale further, I knew we needed to develop solid client acquisition channels that didn’t rely solely on referrals. We built an agency operating system that empowered our team to handle fulfillment and client interactions, allowing me to focus on working on the business, not in it.

This transition allowed me to enjoy running Brandtegic without feeling trapped, giving me the freedom to pursue personal passions like endurance sports, travel, and spending quality time with my wife. It was the systems and team that enabled this level of freedom—proof that building a successful agency isn’t just about revenue, but about creating a business that supports the life you want.

Now, I help other agencies do the same using our proven process.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, endurance sports (biking, running and swimming) and enjoying an active lifestyle in San Diego.
